We utilize the latest racking-system technology to securely fasten your solar system to the roof. The racking technology is minimally invasive to your roof while also dispersing the weight of the system evenly across the surface. We then take it a step further by providing a warranty on our workmanship so you are fully covered in the case of any damages before or after installation. However, we do enjoy reminding our customers that solar systems actually act as a coat of armor protecting your roof from the sun and other harmful elements.
In the case that you decide to sell your home, the solar system is fully transferrable to the new homeowner. Importantly, there are no liens placed on your property or home when purchasing a solar system with Clean Earth Consultants.
The short answer is that it depends how much electricity you are consuming in the house. We will always customize the system to provide the perfect amount of power for your home or business.
A few other things that can also effect the cost of the solar system include roof type, sun exposure and availability of unshaded roof space.
When financing a solar system with us there is no upfront cost whatsoever! You own the system outright, this is not a lease.
Alternatively, when purchasing a system outright with cash we typically estimate a return on your investment within five to eight years.
You own the system while we fully maintain the equipment for 25 years. Our 25-year warranties include the performance of the equipment and our workmanship during and after installation.
The second your system is activated and producing power!
A photovoltaic (PV) solar system which is composed of solar panels converts direct current (DC) electricty. The DC power is sent to a micro-inverter, which converts it into alternating current (AC). AC flows through the home’s electrical panel, powering any appliances with electricity from the sun. Net metering tracks the production and consumption from your home and solar. We size systems with a surplus of power allowing you to receive credits in the form of a check from the utility from the system to sell back.
For the average American, solar saves about $1,500 per year or $50,000-100,000+ over the lifetime of a system. However, savings will depend on factors such as roof size, sunlight exposure, performance, average energy usage, and solar incentives. A detailed calculation of your return on investment will be provided during your solar consultation.
In the United States, a solar system does not increase your property taxes despite the fact that it increases your property value. A study done by Zillow found that on average homes with solar sold for approximately 4.1% more than homes without solar.
